Getting there
Public transport is the best way of getting to the Royal Melbourne Show, particularly travelling by train.
Take advantage of the new Entry & Travel Saver which combines the convenience of public transport and great savings on entry to this year's Show. From only $18 the new Entry & Travel Saver includes public transport to and from Melbourne Showgrounds and entry to the Show. V/Line Country Train and Bus Services
- V/Line has a special Off-Peak Event Ticket for Royal Melbourne Show ticket holders. Passengers with 2012 Royal Melbourne Show tickets can travel Economy Off Peak return for only $14 from any destination on the V/Line network. This ticket is available Saturday, 22 September to Tuesday, 2 October.
- Customers must present their pre-purchased 2012 admission ticket when buying their V/Line Special Event Ticket and need to carry both their Show and V/Line ticket with them. The Special Event fare also includes free metropolitan travel on trains, trams and buses to get to and from the Show.
