Grand Pavilion
The Grand Pavilion is the most popular commercial pavilion at the Royal Melbourne Show with more than 100 exhibitor sites. Located on the main boulevard this fabulous pavilion showcases the best produce from the dairy, beef, wine confectionary, meat, grains and general food industries plus much more. The Grand Pavilion features the Woolworths Fresh Food Showcase, daily cooking demonstrations with celebrity chefs, Yarra Valley Regional Display, major food industry group displays and the Great Tasting Experience stage; a theatre style stage where fantastic demonstrations will be sure to have you captivated. There's nothing like the taste sensations of the Grand Pavilion.
When visiting the Grand Pavilion be sure to visit crowd favourites the Victorian Apiarists Association to learn about bees and taste their delicious honey products and the Spudhunters to learn about potatoes and how you can grow them at home. You can also see a pie being made from start to finish at the Pete Pie Factory!
Great Tasting Experience
The Great Tasting Experience stage features demonstrations where you can learn everything you ever wanted to know about wine, beer and coffee from the industry experts themselves. A treat for all the senses, you will see, smell and taste different varieties of wine, beer and coffee and learn how to match your favourite foods with your favourite drinks. A full program of all the experiences you can enjoy at The Great Tasting Experience will be available in August 2010.
