There's nothing like Victoria's top quality Sheep and Alpaca fleece at the Royal Melbourne Show!

In 2012, the Sheep and Alpaca Fleece competitions will be conducted as one, with judging taking place on Friday 31 August, with the Afternoon Tea & Awards Presentation following judging.

Fleeces will be displayed in The Weekly Times Livestock Pavilion as part of an exciting celebration and extensive display of fibre. Donated fleeces will be sold after the Show with the proceeds of their sale going to Epilepsy Australia. The fleece competition features the Australasian Lamb's Wool competition as well as Skirted fleece, Black and Coloured and district fleece sections.

Shearing times daily 10.30am, 12 noon, 1.30pm, 3pm and 4.30pm. Free.
