Locker Hire
Lockers are available to hire in several locations around the Show. Lockers are an easy and convenient way to store your goods and enjoy the rest of your day at the Show.
Prices for lockers range between $2-00 coin in the slot to $10-00 all day hire.
First Aid/ Medical Assistance
First Aid facilities are located at the following locations
- Underneath Pie in the Sky
- Entrance to the Show from the Train Station
- Entrance to the Show from Flemington Racecourse Car Park
- SmokeFree Family Carnival near the Victorian Government Expo
- Coca-Cola Arena near The Weekly Times Livestock Pavilion
Police and Security
Police assistance is available at the Show at all times during opening hours. Police are located next to the information booth underneath Pie in the Sky.
Security can be contacted from any of the information booths or by customer service staff.
Information Booths
There are five information booths located around the grounds at the following locations
- Underneath Pie in the Sky
- Each Entrance to the Show
Information Booths will be open from 9.30am - 9pm daily and close at 8pm on Tuesday4 October, the final day of Show.
Toilets
There are toilet facilities located throughout the Show in the following locations. Please note some toilets are fitted with baby change facilities.
- The Weekly Times Livestock Pavilion - Also contains baby change facilities
- Underneath the Public Grand Stand on the Herald Sun Town Square - Also contains baby change facilities
- SmokeFree Family Carnival outside the Kids Zone - Also contains baby change facilities
- Adjacent to the Flowers, Gardening & Pets Pavilion - Also contains baby change facilities
- SmokeFree Thrill Seekers Carnival
- SmokeFree Kids Carnival
- Horse Precinct near the Coca-Cola Arena
ATM's
The location of ATM facilities are yet to be confirmed for 2011.
Baby Change Facilities
Facilities for parents to retreat, heat bottles or breastfeed are available during the Show at the Lost Persons Centre located at the Poultry & Alpaca Pavilion, Between Kids Zone and The Victorian Government Expo and adjacent the Railway entrance. Baby change facilities are available in public toilets in the following locations
- The Weekly Times Livestock Pavilion
- Underneath the Public Grand stand on the Herald Sun Town Square
- SmokeFree Family Carnival outside the Kids Zone
- Adjacent to the Flowers, Gardening & Pets Pavilion
Prams and Strollers
Prams/Strollers and Show bag Trollies can be hired for $12 a day from stands on the Grand Boulevard near the Poultry & Alpaca Pavilion and near the SmokeFree Thrill Seekers Carnival at the Showbag Pavilion end.
Lost Person Centre
Patrons who become lost while visiting the Show should go to the Lost Persons Centre located outside the Poultry & Alpaca Pavilion. The Lost Persons Centre is open from 9.30am - 9pm each day except for the final day (Tuesday 4 October) when the centre will close at 8pm.
Lost Property
Lost Property is located in the Lost Persons Centre
Telephone and Internet Facilities
There are no public telephones on site at the Show. Should you need to make an emergency phone call please go to an information booth.
Free access to the following websites is available on-site.
Access to other websites is available through Wi–Fi facilities at a cost. Further information and costs are available when you arrive on–site and attempt to browse the internet.
RASV Member Facilities and Benefits
RASV Members can enjoy great value from a range of Member facilities available at the 2011 Royal Melbourne Show. Below is a list Member facilities/ benefits and the locations
- Members park at Flemington Racecourse, entry via Members Drive off Epsom Rd, Members rate $8 per day
- Members Bar and Lounge - located between The Member's Dining Room and Coca-Cola Main Arena.
- Member Dining Room - located opposite the Showbag Pavilion on the Grand Boulevard.

Members Dining Room
RASV Members and their guests can enjoy an a la Carte lunch and dinner at great value member rates in the Members Dining Room during the Royal Melbourne Show. The menu will showcase local award winning produce as selected at the Royal Melbourne Fine Food Awards.
The Dining Room will be open from 11.00am to 9.30pm daily and will be shared with RASV Councillors.
Lunch served between 12.00pm to 2.30pm
Dinner served between 5.30pm to 9.00pm

Members Bar & Lounge
Members can enjoy the use of a centrally located Bar & Lounge Area during the Show. The lounge is a fabulous retreat for Members and their guests to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy a light meal and refreshing beverage at great members rates.
The Members Bar & Lounge has relocated to the Royal Block and will now reside in what was formally the Cattlemans Bar area overlooking the Main Arena.
This area will be open from 11.00am daily allowing Members to partake in a pre dinner drink before heading into the Council and Members Dining Room or to sit back and enjoy the nightly fireworks display from the comfort of the cosy courtyard area.
Sutton Grange Winery is located on the southern edge of the Bendigo region. The Sutton Grange vineyard is cultivated with organic and biodynamic methods, and the wines are traditionally handcrafted by winemaker Gilles Lapalus. The wines combine Gilles distinctive style and interpretation with their organically grown estate fruit.
Sutton Grange will be holding wine tastings in the members area on a daily basis between:
12.00pm – 1.00pm and 5.00pm – 6.00pm
And in the Cattlemans Bar area between:
1.30 – 3.00pm and 6.30pm – 8.00pm
