The Royal Melbourne Show is held entirely within the school holiday period from Saturday 22 September to Tuesday 2 October. The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV) is pleased to offer the opportunity for your students to experience the country in the city before the Show opens during the School Excursion Program. Suitable for primary ages Prep–5, this FREE excursion is a fantastic ‘hands–on’ opportunity for your students to learn about dairy nutrition and where dairy products come from whilst participating in exciting educational experiences including:   • Milking a cow in the Milking Barn as seen at the Royal Melbourne Show • Patting baby animals • Talking to a farmer and learning what happens on a farm   Each participating school receives a complimentary family pass to the Royal Melbourne Show to use for school fundraising or awards! Excursions Available Wednesday 19 September or Thursday 20 September Sessions run for approximately 1.5 hours at each of the following start times: 9.30am, 11.00am or 12.30pm.
